REFLECTION ABOUT A SCIENCE SOCIAL STUDENT

This reflection on my feelings of being a student in the social sciences and humanities faculty. for the first time, I was excited to be a student of the social sciences faculty as we were about to learn something new at the cost of our choice while enrolled at this university. Besides, I am also lucky and proud to be one of the students at this Malaysian university. In addition, they can identify the dean, deputy dean and staff of the social science faculty as well as the lecturers. In addition, being a student in the Faculty of Social Sciences also enables us to meet friends who come from the peninsula and sabah and from our own country. My experience as a social science student is that I get to know good, friendly, very sporting professors and some are very serious about teaching subjects. even the feeling of studying in unimas is very different from the school environment because we have to work hard to get good grades on our own and are not always guided by lecturers in doing assignments. Also, being a social science student is also a lot of fun because our faculty always has interesting activities going on throughout the faculty week. These include sales booths throughout the faculty week, book exhibitions, organizing interesting activities such as singing, dancing and choir. In conclusion, I am grateful to be part of a social science student.

REFLECTION ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH

Our faculty has organized lectures on mental health for all students. As I listened to the talk I was exposed to ways to take care of our health, ways to avoid stress, depression, loss of self-confidence and so on. This versatile talk has provided us with good info on mental health that we should take seriously and useful info. One of the ways to have good mental health is to be good at controlling our emotions and feelings so that we do not have to suffer stress when we have serious problems in life. Also, in mental health talks we also have to have good self-esteem as this proves that you are good at controlling yourself from stress. and not only that, what I learned in the talk was that we should have good interpersonal relationships with the people around us so that we can interact with people around us and interact well with one another. In addition, the speaker also stated in the lecture that the factors that can cause us to have poor mental health are that we suffer from a person's thoughts, feelings, behavior and reactions to the body. therefore, we should avoid all of the factors that can cause us to be seriously mentally depressed.for me to talk about one's mental health in life should be taken seriously by everyone. whether old or young as this can prevent you from experiencing poor mental health and can also cause an individual's daily life to become more unbalanced and consistent if we ignore this important aspect.
